Author and actress Milena Costanzo is back to Danae with the final stage of her Trilogy of Reason, a study on three outstanding women: Anne Sexton, Emily Dickinson and Simone Weil. A research started in 2014 on three figures who, in different times, pursued their beliefs and their conception of life, nature and mankind at the risk of losing everything. This last stage, dedicated to Weil and featuring Costanzo alone on stage, is the most heartfelt, the most controversial, the most difficult one, where the oppression of present times, through the words of a powerful figure of the past, yells out its reasons. A work developed by repeated subtractions, essential, where the artist’s biography finds connections with the philosopher’s biography.
