Fabio Bonelli is back with another wonderful poetic invention premiering for Danae: an enchanting and captivating concert for one hundred candles played by a huge carillon of handcrafted sound mechanisms activated by the heat of the candles.
A performance that slowly grows from darkness to light, from silence to a symphony of small/slightest and harmonic sounds (microsounds/tiny sounds/small sounds). Result of a years-long work, Il sogno di 100 candele (The 100 candles’ dream) is a poetic and musical meditation on the relationship between darkness and light, silence and harmony, emptiness and fullness.
