Il sogno di 100 candele (The 100-Candle Dream) is a project that Bonelli has been meaning to carry out for a long time, and that our festival warmly supported, helping it grow and develop. After last year’s sudden stop, it will finally come out of the box where Bonelli had scrupulously stored it. It’s another wonderful creation of his that Danae welcomes for its very first premiere: a concert made with handcrafted sound mechanisms activated by the heat of candles. Small, tiny and harmonic sounds for a ritual of listening to the subtle and the invisible. Result of a several year long design, Il sogno di 100 candele is a poetic and musical reflection on the relation between darkness and light, silence and harmony, emptiness and fullness, an enchanting and enrapturing vision.
